Corporate Volunteering

We are supported by over fifty volunteers who commit their time and enthusiasm to enable us to provided vital care for those with a life-limiting illness, without whom we couldn’t not operate successfully. But we always need more helping hands and minds – here are a few ways you can help:

Workplace Champions

We are looking for enthusiastic Workplace Champions to highlight and promote Campden Home Nursing within their workplace. Your enthusiasm will help to inspire your colleagues to get involved and generate a wider awareness of the services we provide.

How you can help?

• Keeping us up to date with any opportunities for staff within your organisation to support Campden Home Nursing e.g. Charity of the Year, employee volunteer days etc.
• Spreading the word among your colleagues about Campden Home Nursing and encouraging others to consider supporting us.
• Promoting fundraising and volunteering opportunities to your colleagues via internal communications within your organisation.

Event Volunteers

We need volunteers who can help out at our fundraising events and we’d love it if you could join in the FUN.

Event volunteering is a great way to:

• Gain events experience and build your CV
• Develop skills such as communication, teamwork, customer service and event organisation
• Meet new people
• Have fun and do something worthwhile

Typical event/campaign volunteer roles we need support with are:

• Promotion of our events within your local community
• Pre-event support
• Assistance with event set-up
• Registration
• Stewarding
• Providing refreshments for participants
• Provide excellent customer service and encourage participants to continue to support our cause
