Lower Clopton Farm

Lower Clopton Farm ShopLower Clopton Farm is located at the base of Meon Hill just 7 miles south of Stratford-upon-Avon at the gateway to the Cotswolds. A family run business, the shop is owned by Richard and Suzy Baldwyn.  Richard is the third generation to work this 211-acre farm which produces traditionally farmed beef, lamb and turkey. Also, the farm produces a small number of arable crops which are mainly used to feed and bed the stock.

At the farm shop, there is a new Farmhouse Kitchen Café where you can enjoy a Farmer’s Breakfast. The sausages and bacon are made and cured by the farm’s butchers and eggs from their free-range hens.

All the food in the café is prepared fresh on-site. In addition, the cafe offers a range of breakfasts available until 12.00pm, light lunches, cream teas and more. You can also enjoy a glass of English wine or local ales and ciders with your meal. Here at Campden Home Nursing, we can vouch for the delicious handmade cakes! We are great fans of the beautiful shop and cafe.

Thank you to the team at Lower Clopton Farm Shop, we really appreciate your support. We can’t wait to see the beautiful sunflower field.

Stop press!

We’re in the news! BBC Radio Gloucestershire interviewed one of our nurses, Esther Newman, at Lower Clopton Farm Shop and Cafe who are donating the proceeds of pick your own sunflowers to Campden Home Nursing. They also spoke with the lovely Diane Mason, who spoke about how we helped her husband Bob.

The sunflowers have been so popular that Lower Clopton Farm Shop and Cafe are extending the service throughout September. There are still hundreds of beautiful blooms to be picked.
Thank you BBC Gloucestershire for featuring our story, and to Esther and Di for their help in spreading the word. And huge thanks to Lower Clopton Farm Shop and Cafe for all their support and everyone who’s picked a sunflower so far!
