Heroes: Celebrating Our Amazing Volunteers

On 9th January, we hosted a heart warming Winter Volunteers Party at Jecca’s House to honour and thank our incredible volunteers. 💛

Our volunteers are the backbone of Campden Home Nursing. They support our charity shop, assist on reception, run workshops and support groups, bake cakes, make cups of tea, care for our visitors’ garden, help with finances, raise funds, support our raffle, and so much more.

The evening was filled with joy, laughter, and gratitude as we celebrated some of the outstanding contributions of our volunteers:
🌟 Anne Benyon🌟 Jax Russell🌟 Mike Wyatt 🌟 Sue Pritchard 🌟 Trevor Currier🌟 Cath McQueen 🌟 Elizabeth Milnes-James

Special shoutouts
🌼 Sue Badger received a Long Service Award for five years of dedication and was presented with a beautiful hand-tied bouquet.
🍾 Diane Mason sold an incredible 140 raffle tickets and was awarded a bottle of bubbly in recognition of her efforts.

A colourful and delicious feast was enjoyed, featuring classic favourites like pigs in blankets and cheese-and-pineapple sticks.

As a small token of appreciation, all our volunteers left with a cheerful bunch of daffodils.

We also shared our Volunteers Survey during the event to gather feedback on how we can better support our amazing team.

CEO Steven Marshall expressed heartfelt gratitude, saying:
“We couldn’t do what we do without the time and energy of our wonderful volunteers. Thank you for your unwavering support!”

A huge thank you to every single one of our volunteers – you are the heart of Campden Home Nursing, and we are so grateful for everything you do! 🌟
