Join Our Board of Trustees

Campden Home Nursing, a dedicated charity based in Chipping Campden, has been providing compassionate end-of-life care in patients’ homes for 35 years. We also offer bereavement support for all ages, children’s play therapy, and well-being activities. We are currently seeking three new trustees to help guide our future.

Why Become a Trustee?

As a trustee, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping our strategic direction, supporting our nursing and leadership teams, and making a meaningful difference in our community. Our Co-Chair of Trustees, Dr. Irene Henry, shares:

“I worked for many years as the Clinical Lead for Palliative Care in my GP practice in Chipping Campden. It felt natural to continue this passion for patients’ rights to choose where they would end their life by becoming a Trustee of Campden Home Nursing. This voluntary role is incredibly rewarding. I know I am helping enable this important choice for patients.”

Who Are We Looking For?

We are seeking individuals with expertise in the following areas:

  • Clinical Trustee: Provide clinical oversight, review policies, and advise on patient care.
  • Finance Trustee: Offer financial guidance and help steer our charity’s finances.
  • General Trustee: Bring strategic thinking, strong communication skills, and a passion for our mission. Experience in fundraising or marketing is valuable but not essential.

For more information go to our vacancies section.

Time & Commitment?

Trustees attend four board meetings annually and provide support via email and occasional in-person involvement.

While these roles are voluntary, the impact is invaluable.
