More info & support

Further information…

We understand that losing a relative or friend can be one of the most painful and life changing events that anyone can experience.

We are committed to helping you at every stage, and will be there for you every step of they way. We offer families the option to receive support after the death of their loved one if they want or need to. Often, this is a very private and a deeply personal time and we will always respect the families’ wishes regarding the level of our involvement.

For more information on how we can help after your loss, please see our information on bereavement counselling and our bereavement support group.

Cruse Bereavement Care and its counterpart Cruse Bereavement Care Scotland are the United Kingdom’s largest bereavement charity, which provide free care and bereavement counselling to people suffering from grief. They are represented in Gloucester and they also have the necessary expertise to guide and help families through this difficult time.

Your GP will also be able to advise you of the options that are available or call our Nurses on 01608 664850.

Other local resources available to the families of our patients includes one of our sister charities Shipston Home Nursing  and Kate’s Home Nursing who provide both bereavement support and counselling.
