Heartfelt Thanks to our Volunteers
It was a fabulous to catch up with many of our wonderful volunteers at the Spring Volunteers Party. It was a lovely evening, full of warmth, laughter and shared purpose.
5 years of service: We are especially proud to recognise five years of dedicated volunteering from Anne Benyon, Sally Harrison, Clare Orr and Val Parsons. Their commitment and care over the years has made a lasting difference.
To every one of our volunteers, thank you. We are so grateful. Because of our volunteers, we achieve so much.
They….
- help our charity shop raise vital funds.
- bake, cook and bring people together.
- support wellbeing at Jecca’s House by making tea, running groups and leading sessions.
- give their time to fundraising, even organising events themselves.
- support administration and support everything running smoothly.
- represent the charity, give talks and help raise awareness in the community.
Through their kindness and commitment, we are able to provide hundreds of nights of nursing care each year. They help us support patients and families at the end of life, and provide bereavement and wellbeing support to those who need it most.
It would not be possible without them.
Volunteer Benefit – free Hidcote entry
As a gesture of appreciation, our volunteers can enjoy free entry to Hidcote Manor Garden.
Four passes are available to borrow from reception at Jecca’s House. Volunteers are welcome to take family or friends along. After visiting, passes are to be returned so others can enjoy them too. They are valid all year round.
This generous offer is kindly supported by the National Trust.
Ribbons of Thanks
We are also delighted to show you our new ‘ribbon of thanks’. Each volunteer will receive one as a small symbol of our appreciation. Those who were unable to attend the party can collect theirs from reception or from the shop.
Thank you again to our volunteers. Their time, compassion and dedication mean so much to us, and to the people we support every day.
