Living Well at Jecca's House

Serious Illness Support Service & Living Well

At Jecca’s House, the base for Campden Home Nursing, we are here to support and comfort those with a cancer or serious illness diagnosis, and their families and carers, through treatment to remission, or through the progression of the illness. Here, you can access help, advice and information, and meet people in similar circumstances.

Free Hospice at Home Service

Hospice Care at Home Service

Our Hospice Care at Home Service is for patients who would like to stay at home, in familiar surroundings in the last weeks or days of their life. Our nurses are all experienced in end of life care. They are carefully selected for their aptitude and skill in this specific area of work, working day and night.

Bereavment Counselling Services

Bereavement Services

Free bereavement services for our patients, their families and friends including bereavement counselling which takes place in our counselling cabin, a private and peaceful therapeutic space, set in the gardens of Jecca’s House. We also provide a monthly support group and Play Therapy for children.

Campden Home Nursing is an independent local charity based in Chipping Campden, Gloucestershire, founded over 30 years ago. We provide seamless support between three services; a Serious Illness Support Service, for those living with a life limiting illness, a Hospice Care at Home Service, for patients who choose to be nursed at home at the end of their lives, and Bereavement Services for bereaved children and adults. All are free of charge.

Over the last few years the geographical area we cover has expanded. We now serve many more towns and villages across Gloucestershire, Warwickshire and Worcestershire. Presently, these include Pershore, Broadway, Evesham, Bredon, Moreton-in-Marsh, Bidford and Lower Quinton. Please see a map of the area in which we provide our services.

We are committed to providing high quality nursing care through our experienced and excellent nursing team. In short, we will be there for the bereaved at the time when we’re needed most. We are regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). The Care Quality Commission  inspects health and adult social care services in England to make sure that they provide safe, high-quality care. If a service needs to improve, CQC will take action to make sure this happens.

We greatly appreciate every penny we receive here at Campden Home Nursing. Making a donation will help ensure that we can keep our services free of charge for our patients and their loved ones. This could be a one off donation or a regular gift. Finally, thank you so much for your support.
