Campden Home Nursing is a local, independent charity providing compassionate end-of-life care in patients’ own homes. We also offer bereavement support for adults and young people, play therapy for children, and well-being activities.
For 35 years, we have supported local families, ensuring people receive dignity, comfort and choice at the end of life. Now, we need three new trustees to help shape our future.
Being a trustee is deeply rewarding. You’ll help guide our charity’s strategic direction, support our dedicated nursing and leadership teams, and make a meaningful difference to local people.
Our Co-Chair of Trustees, Dr Irene Henry, shares: “I worked for many years as the Clinical Lead for Palliative Care in my GP practice in Chipping Campden. It felt natural to continue this passion for patients’ rights to choose where they would end their life by becoming a Trustee of Campden Home Nursing.
This voluntary role is incredibly rewarding. I know I am helping enable this important choice for patients.”
We are seeking people with professional knowledge in the following areas. Please click the links for more information.
🔹 Clinical Trustee – To give clinical oversight, review policies, and advise on patient care.
🔹 Finance Trustee – To offer financial guidance and help steer CHN’s finances
🔹 General Trustee – To bring strategic thinking, good communication skills, and a passion for our mission. Experience in fundraising or marketing would be valuable but not essential.
Time & Commitment As a trustee, you’ll attend four board meetings a year and give support via email and through occasional in-person involvement. The roles are voluntary, but the impact is invaluable.

Cotswold Friend and Campden Home Nursing are looking for friendly and reliable volunteers to join our Men in Sheds project in Chipping Campden as a Shed Leader or Shed Supervisor. This rewarding role helps support older men in the community by providing a welcoming, practical space where they can build friendships, work on creative projects, and feel a renewed sense of purpose.
