We rely on charitable donations to ensure we can provide free high-quality hospice care at home for those living with a life-limiing illness, and holistic support for their families and carers.
Our vision is to provide more care for more people – before, during and after death. Please help us do that for the next 33 years.
Gifts in Wills have allowed Campden Home Nursing to care for more people in our community than ever before. They have enabled us to introduce vital new services to our core Hospice Care at Home Service, such as our Serious Illness Service, and Bereavement Services for children and adults. Fundamentally, these gifts ensure that we can make every precious moment count for people with life-limiting illnesses, and their families.
If you already have a Will, you can phone or write to your solicitor with our charity name and charity number. It can be done in minutes.
If you don’t have a Will yet, please see below.
The need for our help in Gloucestershire, Worcestershire and Warwickshire continues to grow. However, we are a small charity who, like other charities, relies on donations to support our vital work. Gifts in Wills are essential for all charities. Despite this, many people aren’t even aware of this form of giving.
In 2017 Campden Home Nursing received a legacy that changed the face of the charity. It had an enormous impact on our ability to reach more patients. The donation has enabled a 500% increase in the amount of hours we have nursed over the last 5 years. Our patients’ families will always be grateful we were there for them at the end of their loved ones life. Any amount is gratefully received and ensures the sustainability of the charity moving forward.
One person who has experienced the death of a loved one is Diane Mason, who lost her husband, Bob, during the COVID-19 pandemic Here, she tells her story and how the compassion and care Campden Home Nursing provided helped her through some of the most difficult times in her life.
Will you help more people benefit from our free services? After you’ve taken care of loved ones, whether you leave us a percentage of your estate or a cash sum, however large or small, every gift means so much to us. We would be honoured if you would consider supporting Campden Home Nursing. A gift in your Will costs you nothing, but leaves a lasting legacy.
It is an impactful way to leave your mark on a cause you feel passionately about. Many people don’t think they are wealthy enough to make a difference, but even 1% of your estate, can make a big difference to our work for generations to come.
Each September the charity sector comes together to celebrate and promote the impact and importance of gifts in Wills. This year’s Remember A Charity Week will run from 11-17 September 2023. We are taking part in this awareness campaign and will be encouraging our community to remember us if they make a Will.
