Chipping Campden Apple Day is back! Join us for a wonderful autumn celebration for all the family, taking place across Wolds End Community Orchard and neighbouring Campden Home Nursing, Jecca’s House.

There will be plenty to see, taste and enjoy throughout the day.

Apple Day highlights

🍎 Apple displays and apple juicing in Wolds End Orchard

🍏 The famous Longest Peel Competition – how long can you go?

🍎 Apple identification with fruit specialist Steve Oram, supported by the People’s Trust for Endangered Species. If you have an apple tree but are unsure of the variety, bring along some apples and see if Steve can identify them.

🍰 Homemade apple bakes, cakes and scones, plus quiche, hot drinks and more

🎯 Giant garden games, including Jenga, Connect 4, duck hoopla and more

🎨 Children’s art activities

🎟️ Tombola, plants and cards for sale

🛠️ Meet the Men in Sheds community group

🎶 Live entertainment and plenty of autumn cheer

Come and explore

Apple Day is also a great opportunity to explore Wolds End Community Orchard and visit Campden Home Nursing, Jecca’s House – Community Support & Wellbeing Centre. (There are no beds! Our nurses visit people in their own homes.)

Take a look around our children’s play therapy room and garden counselling cabin, learn more about the charity’s hospice care in the comfort of people’s own homes, bereavement and wellbeing services, and discover ways to get involved through volunteering.

Parking and useful information

🚗 Parking: Available at Campden School, with limited parking at Jecca’s House.

🐕 Dogs: Please note that dogs are not permitted in the orchard for hygiene reasons.

🎟️ Admission: Free. No booking required.
