Our Spring Paint Your Pet Workshop was a wonderfully calm and creative morning that brought together art lovers, pet owners, and supporters of Campden Home Nursing. Guests arrived with photographs of their much-loved pets, ready to turn those special images into unique paintings. Before long, the room settled into a peaceful rhythm of sketching, mixing colours, careful brushstrokes, and quiet concentration.
As the workshop progressed, it was lovely to watch each canvas come to life. From expressive eyes to familiar markings and wagging-tail personalities, every painting captured something special about the pet it represented. The atmosphere was relaxed and encouraging, with participants sharing tips, admiring each other’s work, and celebrating the small moments of progress that turned blank canvases into meaningful portraits. By the end of the morning, the sense of pride in the room was clear as everyone stepped back to admire the artwork they had created.
Events like this are not only a chance to enjoy creativity and community, but they also help support the vital work of Campden Home Nursing. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who joined us and for the generous donations made during the workshop. Your support enables us to continue providing specialist end-of-life care, free of charge, to people in their own homes across our community.
A special thank you goes to Sharon, who kindly volunteered her time and artistic expertise to lead the workshop. Her guidance helped participants feel confident and inspired throughout the morning. We are also very grateful for the beautiful photographs she captured, which perfectly reflect the warmth and creativity of the day.
Thank you again to everyone who attended and helped make the workshop such a memorable and meaningful event. We look forward to welcoming you to more creative community events in the future.
