Seeds have been sown in preparation for a field of beautiful sunflowers which will be for sale at Lower Clopton Farm Shop and Cafe. They will be supporting Campden Home Nursing by offering customers a ‘Pick Your Own Sunflowers’ service when their field of golden sunflowers comes into bloom. Watch this space for news of when the field is open!
Lower Clopton Farm is located at the base of Meon Hill just 7 miles south of Stratford-upon-Avon at the gateway to the Cotswolds. A family run business, the shop is owned by Richard and Suzy Baldwyn. Richard is the third generation to work this 211-acre farm which produces traditionally farmed beef, lamb and turkey. The farm also produces a small number of arable crops which are mainly used to feed and bed the stock.
At the farm shop, there is a new Farmhouse Kitchen Café where you can enjoy a Farmer’s Breakfast. The sausages and bacon are made and cured by the farm’s butchers and eggs from their free-range hens.
All the food in the café is prepared fresh on-site. The cafe offers a range of breakfasts available until 12.00pm, light lunches, cream teas and more. You can also enjoy a glass of English wine or local ales and ciders with your meal. Here at Campden Home Nursing, we can vouch for the delicious handmade cakes! We are great fans of the beautiful shop and cafe.
