The Bereavement Café is an informal drop-in service run by volunteers, where you can meet other locals who are alone in their grief and maybe make new friends. It takes places every 2nd Monday afternoon of the month, from 2.00pm – 3.30pm.
At Jecca’s House, we have a wonderful team of volunteer gardeners, who meet once a week to keep our green space looking beautiful.
Jecca’s Garden It is a peaceful space where patients, their carers or bereaved people can come to sit for quiet contemplation. It is also the site for our Memory Tree and the garage where our Men (and ladies) in Sheds meet once a week.
Volunteering is a great way to meet new people, make friends and learn new skills. And being or working in one can provide various benefits.
f you fancy helping us out in the garden as a volunteer, we would love to hear from you. If you’re interested in joining us, please email: diane.mason@campdenhomenursing.org.
The group is led by Val Parsons, a Bereavement Counsellor with over 20 years’ experience in counselling.
Whether you just want some company or to share your stories, worries or fears with a listening ear or you just want a cup of tea, a biscuit and a friendly place you will be most welcome to join in.
