The Cotswold Way runs nearly the entire length of the Cotswolds Area of Natural Beauty, from Chipping Campden in the north, to Bath in the south. Plaques mark the start and end points, near the centre of town in Chipping Campden, and in the busy square outside the cathedral in Bath.
The distance is 102 miles and usually people walking The Cotswold Way would spread the distance, staying overnight along the way. Obviously, this isn’t possible at the moment, so we’re inviting you to walk the Cotswold Way, virtually and to raise money for Campden Home Nursing.
Speed doesn’t matter – it’s just about completing 102 miles.
If you want to do it as a team or a family, that would be great!
The emphasis is on having fun, walking and getting fitter and raising money for Campden Home Nursing.
When you sign up, you can create a fundraising page where people can sponsor you, and you’ll be able to upload your Strava maps on your fundraising pages to show your progress, as well as photos of the walks you complete.
We are charging a minimum admin sign up fee of £5 for an individual, £10 for a family (a minimum of 1 adult and any number of children) and £15 for a team (a minimum of 3 people).
Everyone who completes the walk will receive a medal! We are also planning a garden party in June, when all participants can enjoy a bar-b-que in the gardens of Jecca’s House and entrants will be awarded with their medals*.
