Many thanks to all the members of Bretforton Garden Club who have raised £750 for Campden Home Nursing. Mike Cook, Chair of the club, and Lynette Moxon, Secretary, presented a cheque to Heather Mitchell, our Head of Nursing and Helen Makaritis, CEO.
Every year the club nominates two chosen charities to support and this year we are a recipient of their fundraising. The funds were mainly raised at their Open Gardens event in June.
Mike Cook said: “We are a group of passionate gardeners who love to get together to organise trips and events, talks and of course our annual Open Gardens in June. But as well as having a love for all things ‘gardening’ we all really enjoy raising money for local charities – it’s what we’re all about. We’re delighted to have raised this money for Campden Home Nursing.”
