In the words of a CHN nurse…

By Emily Guest

I first began working for Campden Home Nursing in December 2018 and can honestly say that I have never felt so happy in my nursing career. Working also as a district nurse, palliative nursing has always been one of my favourite aspects of nursing. Our CHN management and administrative staff are excellent, approachable, efficient, supportive and very friendly. My other nursing colleagues are also very knowledgeable, experienced, dedicated and kind, with a great sense of humour. It is a blessing to be able to work with such a fantastic team.

When I was offered a nursing post with CHN, naturally, I was over the moon to say the least! It is such a privilege to meet new, lovely patients and their families and be able to provide the best possible palliative nursing on a one to one basis in people’s homes. I am truly honoured to have the opportunity to nurse palliative patients, often at the end stage of their lives and work with families and CHN staff to fulfil our patients last wishes. Thank you to everybody at CHN for your continuous support and allowing me to be a part of a truly special charity.
