Once again, the gardens of Shepherd’s Close were opened to the public in memory of Rita Dan’s beloved husband. He was an avid gardener and for the last two years, Rita has opened the garden in his memory. This year visitors were treated to two new areas, a wildflower garden and prairie grass walls. 236 visitors braved the 30-degree day and a grand total of £2525 was raised, we can’t thank Rita enough for all the work that goes into hosting these days.
