Open Day postponed

Following the latest government announcement regarding the lifting of Covid restrictions, in the interest of keeping our community safe, we are postponing our Open Day, due to be 10th July. The new date is Saturday 11 September 2021.

Local lady runs for Campden Home Nursing

Local lady, Jessica Duff, is running for Campden Home Nursing in the Leamington Spa Half Marathon on 11th July 2021.

Jess’s mum, Lorraine, works as a volunteer in our charity shop and her aunty, Mary-Rose Eames works as a nurse for the charity. Jess said: “I am not a natural runner, and this will be a massive challenge for me. Hopefully I can join both my mum and Mary-Rose, and all the other staff and volunteers to play my part to help this charity continue their great work.”

Thank you Jess, and good luck from all at Campden Home Nursing!

If you would like to donate to Jess’s fundraising page, please go to: https://campdenhomenursing.enthuse.com/pf/jessica-duff

Super summer shopping

We are so proud of our shop in Lower Higher Street. Since returning, they have enjoyed bumper takings. Thank you to our staff and wonderful volunteers who have made this possible.

Thank you also for all the high-quality donations we have received in the last few months. There are now no restrictions regarding booking in items for donation.

We are now looking for a part-time Shop Supervisor. This paid position is two days per week (a minimum of 15 hours). Anyone interested in applying should email: ali.robinson@campdenhomenursing.org.

We have plenty of summer bargains, including lots of brand new, boxed wine glasses, champagne flutes and tumblers, perfect for BBQs and Summer parties (£4 per box of 4). A huge thank you to our local resident for his for his generous donation of these glasses.

Thank you!

A big thank you to the Chipping Campden Open Gardens Committee for organising “Campden’s Gone Potty” in June, and to everyone who donated to us. Thanks also to Rachel and Arthur Cunynghame who provided tea and cakes over the weekend.

Thank you to Mr and Mrs Burke, who have donated a beautiful bench which is sited in the orchard at Jecca’s House. The bench provides a perfect, peaceful seat for our patients.
