We would like to make you all aware that the status of our charity has changed, and we are now registered as Campden Home Nursing CIO (Charitable Incorporated Organisation CIO). This is something many charities are doing. The main benefit is that it gives us limited liability so that its members and trustees will not have to contribute in the event of financial loss.
We will continue to just use ‘Campden Home Nursing’ when we refer to the charity, however, due to new banking regulations, any cheques made out to us must be payable to “Campden Home Nursing CIO” – we have been told by our bank, that without the CIO, cheques will be returned. This is already causing issues and we’d be grateful if you could make a note of this for any future donations.
